Insert welcome notes from the leadership team here (CEO/Chairperson). You may like to include an overview of how the Board is formed, their governance role and the value of the Management/Board relationship.

Information about the organization

Insert information regarding the history of the organization. It is helpful for new employees to understand where the organization has come from in order for them to connect with the next phase which they will be part of.

Mission/Values

Insert the organization’s mission statement, vision, and values of the organization. This will most likely come from the Strategic Plan.

JOINING THE ORGANIZATION

Signing up – forms to complete

Items that have already been completed via Zenefits pre start-date:

  • personal and bank account details;
  • completed tax forms;
  • emergency information form; and
  • declaration agreeing to employment terms and conditions.

Working hours

Inturact’s normal office hours are from 9am to 5pm with an hour taken for lunch. There may be times when you are required to work outside these hours. Overtime payments are not paid unless specified in an individual employment agreement. Your working hours may be varied from time to time by mutual agreement.

Inturact employees are permitted to work from their home Tuesdays and Thursday unless otherwise discussed in the event the entire team needs to come into the office. Upon any new hire the entire team will work from the office the following full 2 weeks instead of from their homes.

Dress code

Inturact operates a smart casual dress policy. This means that we expect that all employees dress in a neat manner appropriate to:

  • the work they are doing;
  • the clients they are dealing with; and
  • what is typical within Inturact’s culture

The overriding consideration is that you look smart and professional at all times and that you dress appropriately for the occasion. Dress down Fridays are acceptable practice with exception to the above. unless otherwise relayed.

REMUNERATION AND BENEFITS

Pay and Compensation

The salary or wage which has been agreed with you individually will be outlined in your employment agreement and should be regarded as confidential. You should not disclose your salary or wages to anyone within the organization other than your immediate manager. Full details of the breakdown of your salary or wage payment will be shown on your payslip which will be given to you on, or just before, payday, via email. Your salary or wages are accrued throughout the month and paid in arrears twice per month into your nominated bank account.

Salary review process

Your salary or wage will be reviewed annually in {month} and adjusted in line with your performance. The salary review process will take into account your performance in your role, market rates for you role and Inturact’s ability to pay. Reviews will not necessarily lead to an increase.

Salary deductions

No deductions will be made from your salary without your authorization, except for time lost through special leave, default, and accident or through absence at your request and with our consent.

HOURS OF OPERATION/WORK SCHEDULES

Attendance

The office is normally open from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm Central time. Certain employees may be assigned to different work schedules and/or shifts outside of normal office hours. If an employee must be outside of the office for non-business related reasons during their normal work schedule, they should inform their manager.

Regular attendance is essential to the Company’s efficient operation and is a necessary condition of employment. When employees are absent, schedules and customer commitments fall behind, and other employees must assume added workloads.

Employees are expected to report to work as scheduled and on time. If it is impossible to report for work as scheduled, employees must call their manager before their starting time. If your manager is unavailable, a voice message should be left. If the absence is to continue beyond the first day, the employee must notify their manager on a daily basis unless otherwise arranged. Calling in is the responsibility of every employee who is absent. Absence for three consecutive work days without notifying the manager is considered a voluntary termination.

Early Commute Allowance @ 3:30pm

We allow our employees the luxury of leaving the office before traffic hits on “in-office” work days. You are allowed to leave work at 3:30pm, however you are responsible for making up the missed hours once you get home. All time is reviewed and a normal work day is 8 hours. You are required to still attend any scheduled meetings and complete your work day from home.

Satellite/Remote Access

The Company is committed to creating a work environment where the needs of our customers, employees, and the Company are balanced. Therefore, the Company tries to be flexible in its approach to work styles and location. Telecommuting arrangements may be made on an “as needed basis” or set up on a regular schedule. In either case, employees are encouraged to spend time working in the office whenever possible. This allows employees to be accessible to customers and creates a sense of consistency and collaboration among work teams. When employees desire to work remote, the Company asks that they do so in a manner which is in keeping with a workstyle of accessibility, communication, and productivity, just as you would on an "at home work day". All telecommuting arrangements are subject to approval by the employee’s manager. In general, the following principles should be used in telecommuting:

  • You earn 1 day/per year for each year of full-time employment with Inturact
  • Employees should make arrangements with their manager at least one week in advance of telecommuting
  • Employees should check in with the office regularly
  • Employees should inform their manager of their whereabouts so they may be reached easily
  • Working remote means working, not taking time off
  • These remote days are meant to be used while out of town to extend a holiday while working at that location of course
  • Under regular circumstances, telecommuting should not comprise more than 3 days a month
  • Ideally this is the same as a Tuesday/Thursday work day, however you are in a different location
