We are looking for content on the following topics:

1. All content must be 100% original

Now we know you’re no newbie - but the importance of originality has to be said. As much as we appreciate the content that you’ve published on your website, it’s not within our content strategy to republish it on ours. All content will be checked for originality and all contributing thoughts from other sources must be properly cited. That brings us to our next point.

2. Proper citation format and external links

We require proper citation for all components that are not your own original thought, so linking to the original author is encouraged when appropriate. This informs the reader that the claims are substantiated and helps direct them toward further reading on the subject.

That being said, here are our requirements for external links:

  • You must disclose any personal relationships you have to a link (client, or otherwise).
  • Make sure the backlinks you add are contextual. Promotional backlinks will be removed in the editorial process. Also, we allow a maximum of 3 backlinks only. 

  • Avoid linking to Inturact's competitor websites. 
  • All images must be properly cited but any links that appear to be questionable will not be accepted and the image will be rejected.
  • Make sure you're linking to the source of whatever you're claiming. The source should be relevant and non-promotional.
  • Ensure that you do not include any CTAs (Calls to Action).

3. Follow best SEO practices

You’ve put all of this time into writing an epic blog post, now let’s make sure people can find it!

    • We want to hear as much from you as possible! We only accept posts that are at least 1200 words in length and we love posts that are over 2000 words.
    • Pick a relevant keyword for your subject and utilize it within the content and headers.
    • Follow blog formatting best practices (H1/H2/H3, bulleted lists, formatting, etc.).
    • Add adequate examples to present your point. The best performing content always provides the readers with top notch practical examples.
    • Don't engage the reader with just words. Back them with value propositions, data, etc.

4. Formatting and submission

We have just a few more best practices on formatting your submission:

    • Submit your final draft as an editable Google Doc.
    • Format all headers as H1s, H2s, etc. in the draft.
    • Write out numbers from one to nine, 10+ can be written as digits.
  • Please only one space after punctuation.

5. Your author bio

Please include an author bio along with your blog post submission. This should contain:

  • Your headshot.
  • Links to at least two personal social media accounts.
  • A paragraph with your biographical information.
  • Your job title and place of employment.

6. Final steps

We’ll polish the post up and load it into our CMS.

  • We reserve the right to make any editorial changes that we see fit.
